Together, Yes

Together, Yes is a taut, instinctive and quietly uncanny duet choreographed by Ross McCormack in collaboration with Olivia McGregor. Presented by The New Zealand Dance Company, it unfolds as a choreographic conversation – looping, glitching, and reshaping itself in real time.

This 20-minute work resists neat resolution, hovering between the studio and the stage. Built on repetition, disruption and instinct, it explores the subtle power dynamics of partnership, rehearsal, and response.

Premiered at the Contact Dance Festival in Singapore on 28 June 2025 as part of T.H.E Dance Company’s Open Stage programme, Together, Yes invited audiences into something intimate, magnetic and unresolved – dance theatre that rewrote itself as it was performed.
