Victoria Colombus

Victoria Colombus has worked internationally as a dancer, teacher and choreographer. She has performed and toured with Black Grace Dance Company, Australian Dance Theatre, Michael Parmenter Commotion Company and Muscle Mouth Dance Company.

In 2016 Victoria was appointed the role of Choreographic Director for the World of Wearable Arts. She has worked with the organisation for 10 years and toured to Hong Kong with them in 2012 to create an international production of the show.

Victoria has been a full-time contemporary dance tutor for New Zealand School of Dance since 2010. She works closely with the students to develop their choreographic practice and directs the annual Choreographic Season. Throughout her time at the school she has created work for Tempo Dance Festival, The Body Festival, New Caledonia Festival, Sydney Lighthouse Project and the inaugural New Zealand Dance Graduation Season.

Victoria has also choreographed for Footnote Dance Company and Movement of the Human and worked as the choreographic assistant for Ross McCormack for the creation of Nowhere Fast for Dance North.
