Jo Kilgour

Jo Kilgour is an Auckland-based Lighting Designer, Technical/Production Director with extensive touring and festival experience.

Her recent lighting design credits include: Sigan, Season’s Retouched, The Fibonacci, Whispers from Pandora’s Box, Matter, Geography of an Archipelago, In Transit, Brouhaha (The New Zealand Dance Company); Rushes, Movement of the Human: Fringetown (Malia Johnston’s Movement of the Human); Six Degrees of Separation, Filthy Business, Under The Mountain, Nell Gwynn, Amadeus, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (Auckland Theatre Company); Tōku Reo Waiata, Ihimaera (Auckland Arts Festival); La Traviata (Festival Opera); Leeches (Aloalii Tapu & Friends) and Once (Peach Theatre Company).

Her work in technical/production direction includes: Auckland Arts Festival; New Zealand Festival; Christchurch Arts Festival, Taranaki Arts Festival; The New Zealand Dance Company.

In 2017 Jo, along with Rowan Pierce, won ‘Best Production for Lighting and AV’ award for Rushes (MOTH) in the 2017 Auckland Fringe Festival.
