Jo Lloyd Workshop

9.30am - 4pm
Wellesley Studios

Join dance artist, Jo Lloyd for an intensive exploration into her world of creation through her distinctive choreographic process. Open to professional dancers. Choose for one or two days or join for all four!

Four consecutive days of continuous dancing and noticing our dancing as we dance, pausing regularly for a conference. Attending to ways of involving words, both nonverbally and verbally, whilst dancing and erasing the use of words from the dance altogether. Attempting to understand, barter, find vocabularies, and frame the dance in order to reattempt the irreproducible. Entertaining ‘surrealisation’ and working with spontaneity to erase doubt. How real you can make the unreal? How do you form the unresolved dance?
