Christine Rice

Christine is a very experienced Accountant within the “Not for Profit” sector, having studied at Massey University in Wellington and gaining her qualification with the NZ Chartered Accountants Institute. Her expertise is in financial management, budgeting and business administration. She enjoys engaging with the all the staff and being part of the creative team, even it is just in making budget spreadsheets.

Her past work achievements have included contributions to The Salvation Army Head Office in Wellington, Hannahs’ (the shoe people), the airline industry, and the University of Queensland while living in Brisbane for the past 10 years.

Discovering the Aotearoa wilds has seen Christine on a bike on the Central Otago Rail trail and Rimutaka trail, tramping the likes of Milford Sound and Abel Tasman Park as well as venturing further afield to the Santiago de Compostela Camino in Spain and bike paths in Italy. However, Christine finds it pretty special coming back home to Auckland and the glorious countryside and adding to that is the enjoyment of contributing to the awesome whanau at NZDC.
