Chris Clegg

Chris Clegg finished his final year studying contemporary dance at the New Zealand School of Dance in 2018, was asked to tour with The New Zealand Dance Company to Belgium and Luxembourg following graduation and was then offered a full time role with the Company. Chris began dance in his last few years of high school before moving to Wellington to begin his training. Chris has performed in Te Manu Ahi – The Firebird by Moss Patterson in 2015 and Forgotten Things by Sarah Foster-Sproull in 2017. He also had the opportunity to work with Damien Jalet, Sih-Wei Lou whilst staging Huang Yi work from Cloud Gate II and Adam Barruch for graduation season 2018. Chris also collaborated and performed at the Pacific Dance Festival in June 2018 as well as being invited to perform overseas in Macao, China with MANU Collective at the Macao International Youth Dance Festival 2018.
