Arlo Gibson

Arlo is an Auckland based actor who has been working in film, television and theatre for the last eight years. He graduated from the Actors Program in 2012, and has since featured in a number of South Pacific Pictures productions including The Sounds, Step Dave and Shortland Street. Other highlights include playing guitarist Chris Sheehan in Great Southern’s telefeature The Exponents, Why Does Love?’, and having his face projected on the Civic screen during the 2018 NZFF in the feature film Mega Time Squad.

In 2017 Arlo traveled to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to perform in the sell-out season of The Generation of Z which he helped to devise. Arlo has since produced, created and starred in a number of productions under the theatre company Thank You Real Good Party Time Ltd including Thomus, Skyloving and Non Flower Elements.

Other theatrical credits include: The Events, Mating in Captivity, Grand Opening, Cult Show: The Revitalization of the Women’s Archive, Second Unit: What We Do In The Shadows, Dynamotion’s Top Town and Red Leap’s adaptation of Owls Do Cry by Janet Frame.
