Katrina Bastian
Performer & Tutor & Choreographer

Katrina is an instigator of empathy. She attempts to value the body as a medium of honest expression, and a means of bridging the entrenched divisions of modern behavior. Katrina began her choreographic career at Reed College, in Portland Oregon, where she investigated the phenomenon of the grotesque in dance and literature. She then moved on to a choreographic residency at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance and soon after moved to Europe. In 2017 she began her Masters in Choreography at the Hochschulübergreifendes Zentrum Tanz in Berlin, Germany. As a dancer, Katrina has worked with choreographers and artists in Europe and the United States.
